Project description
Bugasura is an AI-enabled bug-management tool built for agile, modern tech teams. It combines issue tracking, test management, bug reporters (for websites/web apps/in-app), performance monitoring, automation and integrations, all in one platform. Bugasura
It aims to reduce overhead of capturing context, sharing bugs, linking to tests, and closing defects faster—all while keeping collaboration streamlined.
Why it matters
For product, QA and engineering teams, the friction in bug-reporting, reproducing issues, linking to tests, and tracking closure is a recurring pain point. By integrating contextual capture (screenshots, replays), AI for issue meta-data, and test-case linking, Bugasura sets out to smooth that workflow.
Solution
Here’s how Bugasura’s UI/UX solves the identified problems:
Frictionless bug submission
Reporter widget: Enables users (even non-technical) to submit issues with visual context (screenshots, scroll, device info) quickly.
AI assistance: Auto-generates bug description, type, impact—reducing time & cognitive load on the reporter. Bugasura
Embedded in web/app: Makes bug submission part of the product workflow rather than a separate tool.
Context-rich issue details
Issue detail view includes attachments, session/device info, annotations — so developers don’t have to chase down replicable steps.
Custom workflows: Teams can define fields/statuses to match their process, reducing mis-fit between tool and workflow. Bugasura
Advanced filters/search: Developers and QA can find relevant issues quickly rather than digging through noise. Bugasura
Unified test- & bug-management
From requirements → test cases → test runs → bugs: Traceability is built-in. This reduces the silos between QA and dev.
Dashboard/reports: Tailored for business/product/engineering — each role sees insights relevant to them (e.g., coverage, high-impact bugs, sprint velocity). Bugasura
Results
Here, the outcomes and achievements of the project are highlighted, including user feedback, adoption rates, and industry recognition.
Workflow improvements
Faster bug closure: By capturing context earlier (through reporter widget) and linking test artefacts, the cycle from bug discovery to resolution is shorter.
Reduced cognitive load: AI-driven metadata generation, well-designed flows help reduce manual effort for QA/dev.
Better visibility & collaboration: Dashboards and custom workflows align stakeholders (QA/dev/Product) and reduce miscommunication.
Business & product value
By integrating test-management and issue-tracking, organisations save on tool-sprawl and tool context switching.
Freemium / Free model lowers acquisition cost and encourages adoption in smaller teams, which can scale up.
Flexible deployment (cloud/self-hosted) helps teams with stricter security/compliance requirements.
